Adviser helps client to get £70,832.50 in backdated payments from 2007!
One of our Advisers here at Citizens Advice South West Surrey has been supporting a client to get her Attendance Allowance since February this year.
Although DWP said the client already received it with her pension payments, through our Adviser’s insistence, they finally agreed they have not paid the client since 2007!
The client has now confirmed she is getting Attendance Allowance at higher rate indefinitely of £434.20pm. And the client has now also received a whopping £70,832.50 in backdated payments from 2007!
